Information we use

Synastriq stores account details, birth details you provide, saved connections, relationship calculations, shared-relationship membership, Guide messages, horoscope and Tarot reading history, subscription status, and first-party product events needed to operate and improve the service.

How it is used and shared

Birth information powers astrology calculations. Relationship information powers Bonds and shared experiences. Guide questions and a bounded, name-free calculation context may be processed to prepare an answer. Payments are processed by Stripe; Synastriq does not store full card numbers or CVCs. Email delivery providers process recipient and message data. We do not sell personal information.

Shared relationships and Tarot

Members of an accepted shared Bond can see that Bond's shared calculated content; private Guide threads remain tied to the asking account. Tarot questions and saved readings are private to the account unless the user chooses to share them outside Synastriq.

Cookies and events

We use essential session, security, and preference cookies plus first-party product events. No third-party advertising analytics are currently described by this application. Consent requirements must be reviewed if non-essential tracking is added.

Retention and deletion

We retain data while an account is active and as reasonably needed for security, operations, disputes, and legal obligations. Account Settings provides deletion after password confirmation. Active Stripe subscriptions must be cancelled first. Stripe and other providers may retain records under their own legal obligations. Backup copies expire through the documented retention cycle.
